IMS offers support for Blackboard CE8 online courses.

Information on how to log on to Blackboard
(BB)
- Your UT Health Science Center domain user name and your Blackboard CE8 login and password are the same. These services are integrated under the current authentication process. Any changes you make to your UT Health Science password will be reflected in your BB CE8 online course management system login. Additional information regarding BB CE8 is listed below.
- Log in to Blackboard
- Blackboard Support, to get assistance with all Blackboard support issues including:
- New course shell request
- Designer/Instructor enrollment
- Various logon issues
- Questions about Blackboard Tools
- Accessing courses

Requirements: E-mail request to IMS Service Desk
Restrictions: Must be a member of the Health Science community, student, faculty, staff or enrolled in a continuing education course.
Time Constraints: See Turn Around Time.
Turn Around Time: The Blackboard Support Team will make every effort to respond to support request within 24 hours (business days). Some requests may require additional time.
Cost:
- Blackboard course management system will host official, numbered, UT Health Science Center courses at no charge
- Non-official curriculum related courses containing only UT Health Science students are hosted at no charge
- All other types of courses, such as continuing education will be hosted at a fee
