Data Analysis Services
Data Analysis Services provides support for the analysis of biostatistical data compiled by researchers at UT Health Science Center. Support includes programming of statistical software and interpretation of results.
Description: Assistance with the preparation of the biostatistical methods section of research proposals, including experimental design and power analysis, is available. Additional services include the preparation of statistical graphics and tables as well as statistical methods and results sections for manuscripts, and response to statistical reviewer comments. Consulting for general biostatistics questions and technical support for SPSS, Stata, and SAS statistical software is also provided. Data Analysis Services offers assistance to faculty, staff and students in the areas of:
- Statistical consulting and programming
- Assistance in writing statistical results for publications and/or responding to reviewer comments on statistical methods
- Assistance for thesis or dissertation committees requiring a statistical core
- Assistance for writing statistical sections for grant applications
- Experimental design
- Sample size estimation (power analysis)
- Data collection protocols
- Technical support for statistical software including SAS, SPSS and Stata
