Governance

Information Management and Services maintains a standing committee to advise on its affairs and policies. The Computing Resources Committee meets once a month, and operates four subgroups that provide guidance on specialized technology interests. They are:

  • End User Technology Council - Advises on desktop technology and provides feedback to the Department of Information Management Client Support Services.
  • Infrastructure Subcommittee - Advises on issues involving instituton-wide computing and telecommunications network.
  • Information Security Council - Advises on security issues and policy, and provides guidance to the Department of Information Security and Assurance.
  • Web Advisory Committee - Advises on policy and web affairs to the chief communications officer, and the vice president and chief information officer.

Information Management and Services also receives guidance from other advisory groups that include:
