Long Campus Phone Issues
We are currently experiencing intermittent phone and voicemail issues on the Long Campus. These issues seem to be isolated specifically to our Lync and NEC phone systems. Those on the Cisco telephone platform should not be impacted.
IMS is working with both AT&T and the phone system support team to resolve the issues.
****The following message applies to UTHSCSA Faculty, Staff, and Residents who use Sunrise****
UHS will be taking Sunrise offline this Friday, March 6, starting at 8:00 p.m. for a scheduled upgrade. Sunrise is expected to be back online at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Order entry will stop processing orders at 7:00 p.m. and paper charting will be employed until the system is back online. Providers will use paper forms to chart assessments, notes, and orders. Nursing staff will have the paper forms. Orders will be restricted to one time or the number of tests needed for the downtime period.
Lab and Radiology Results during downtime will be available via Clinical Inquiry. You will need to call the Help Desk 358-4059 for your password if you need one. UHS is recommending that you call the Help Desk for password assistance prior the system downtime so you are not waiting in a queue. All nurses will have access to this system with their User ID.
Medication orders will be restricted to one time orders or the number of doses needed during downtime period.
UT Medicine SA Epic and Server Maintenance
The UT Medicine SA EPIC and server maintenance window is scheduled Saturday, March 21st at 6:00PM ending at 10:00PM Saturday, March 21st.. Epic will be unavailable at that time. Thank you
