3D Printing

Bring your ideas to life with our new 3D printing services. We offer in-house custom modeling of your ideas for prototypes, teaching models, or other custom work. We can also take a model you provide and print out the design on a SLA resin or FDM filament printer.

SLA Printer

Stereolithography (SLA) is a form of additive manufacturing technology used for creating models, prototypes, patterns, and production parts in a layer by layer fashion using photopolymerization. With the help of computer aided design software (CAM/CAD), the UV laser is used to draw a pre-programmed design or shape on to the surface of the photopolymer vat. Because photopolymers are photosensitive under ultraviolet light, the resin is solidified and forms a single layer of the desired 3D object.

FDM Filament Printer

Fused deposition modeling (FDM) is an additive manufacturing technology also used for prototyping and production applications. FDM works on an "additive" principle by laying down material in layers; a plastic filament or metal wire is unwound from a coil and supplies material to produce the model.
