Multimedia encompasses many digital audio and visual technologies & techniques using
some combination of text, audio, still images, animation, video, and interactivity
forms to create educational presentations, training modules, and electronic publications.
Multimedia materials are usually packaged for delivery on hard drives, CD/DVDs,
email, broadcasting, and the web. Multimedia is best used to enhance the user’s
learning experience and make it easier and faster to convey technical information
in a more stimulating way.
