IMS Information

Restrictions:

E-mail accounts are only provided to individuals with an active UT Health Science Center affiliation.

Quota exceptions: Submit a Service Request Form, including user name, desired quota level, valid PID, and authorized signatory.

Time Constraints:

Hours: Mon-Fri 8A.M.-5P.M.

Turn Around Time: Typically one day, to allow processes to run overnight

Cost:

E-mail accts. incur one-time $49.00 setup fee.
Quota disk $12.50 per 250 MB

Request Instructions: Accounts for active employees can be requested through the HCM hiring process. All other requests can be submitted via the online Service Request Form.

SERVICES & SOLUTIONS

Mobile Devices

Smartphones and related mobile devices are supported through the university's on-campus wireless network. Users need their university username and password to access wireless service on campus.

Access

Users may use the wireless network "HSCwave" using their UTHSCSA username and password. Assistance with adding your email to your device may be found on the HSCwave wireless network page. Details

Airtime Plans

Many service plans are available from AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. Details

After-hours support

Contact your vendor to suspend service:

Report lost/stolen mobile devices:
