Academic Technology Faculty Development Workshops
Academic Technology Services (ATS) is pleased to provide course design assistance,
technology training for Blackboard and training for software that you use in
your e-learning course or face-to-face course.
Faculty / Staff Development Workshops - ATS offers workshops on a variety
of Blackboard and instructional technology related topics.
- Course Design Consultation
An ATS course design consultant can meet with you one-on-one to discuss how Blackboard
and our On-line Learning Team can support your Blackboard teaching efforts.
- Department / Group Training on Blackboard Tools
Request a workshop to meet your needs. Blackboard or instructional technology
group training sessions can also be arranged for department faculty.
Get together a group of 2 to 4 co-workers and submit a request.
- Online and Blended Learning Certification
Blackboard or instructional technology
group training sessions can also be arranged for department faculty to recive and Online and Blended Learning Certification.

Cost: There is no cost for attending workshops.
Request Information: You must register through the
Knowledge Center to attend workshops.
Registration:
- Go to http://kc.uthscsa.edu and login using
your UT Health Science Center domain and password.
- From your Personal KC page, click on the Course Catalog tab.
- From the list on the left panel select the plus sign (+) next to “Academics.”
- Click the “Enroll” button to enroll in any of the Blackboard courses.
- All workshops are held in the DENT 3.464T Faculty Resource Center
