Enable Cookies: Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Advanced > Check "Override Automatic Cookie Handling (Accept first party; Prompt third party)" and check the option to always accept session cookies > OK | |||||
Enable Java: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab > scroll down to Java (Sun) and check the box next to “Use XXX X.X for <applet> (required restart)" > OK > back to browser and restart the computer | |||||
Enable Javascript: Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab > Custom Level > Scroll down to "Scripting," and enable "Active Scripting," "Allow Programmatic clipboard access," "Allow status bar updates via script," and, "Scripting of Java Applets" > OK | |||||

Display Secure and Non-secure Items: Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Under "Select a Zone" select Internet > Custom Level > scroll to Miscellaneous heading > Display mixed content > Enable > OK. Click Yes at the prompt "Are you sure you want to change the security settings..." > OK | |||||
Pop-up Blocker Settings: Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings ... > type: *.uthscsa.edu >click Add button / click Cloclick Close button | |||||
Clear Cache/Delete Browsing History: Tools > click on Delete Browsing History > Select Temporary Internet Files > Click Delete button. Note: If you want the browser to automatically clear the cache whenever you close it, click Tools > Internet Options / Advanced tab. Under Security, check the box next to the "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed" option. Click OK. This will delete everything except cookies. |
