Long Distance Services
UT Health IT – Infrastructure Solutions provides Long Distance service for the University. All Long Distance calls made from university phone systems should only be for conducting University or State business.
Authorization Codes
Telephone authorization codes are required for International Long Distance calling to assist in the control of unauthorized International Long Distance calls. Telephone authorization codes are no longer required for Domestic Long Distance calls.

Restrictions: Authorization Codes are intended for the sole use of the individual to whom they are issued.

- Press numbers in the order shown. The “+” represents an audible dial progress tone.
- United States: 9 + 1 - area code - telephone number.
- International: 9 + 011 - country code - city code - telephone number + authorization code + #.
