Rightfax

UT Health IT – Infrastructure Solutions has incorporated a different digital fax service called Rightfax. All fax requests moving forward will be created as Rightfax; we are in the process of moving all remaining fax lines to the new technology as well.

Benefits of Rightfax:

* Allows users to send and receive faxes directly from their computers
* Eliminates the need for a fax machine
* Reduces cost of maintenance and paper products
* Lower monthly fax costs for departments
* Incoming faxes will be delivered directly to your Outlook which is more secure and allows more control who will see your faxes

One Time Charges:

  • $10 per Rightfax

Annual Reoccurring Charges:

  • $60.00

Q: How do I send to external fax numbers?
A: Local: Dial 9+areacode+7 digit number; even if it is 210 area code. International Long Distance: Dial 9+1+areacode+7digit number+authorization code+#.

Q: Do I need to use my long distance code for long distance numbers?
A: For domestic external faxes, you no longer need a long distance code. For international faxes, your long distance code is needed.

A: Right fax has an annual fee of $60.00
